In 2008 we visited British Columbia, Canada, and also drove through the Canadian Rockies. Part of our travels were blocked by wild fires – we had to make detours to get to our planned destinations, and have seen smoke and burned trees. We also visited Jasper, in Alberta. A lovely little town, with spectacular surroundings and sights. Today I saw that due to wildfires large part of town was burned down… So sad to see the images in the news…
